How it works

Four Steps From Estimate to Monthly Payment

Financing fits inside the visit you were already going to book. Here is how it plays out.

  1. During your estimate

    See a Monthly Figure Before You Commit

    Ask about financing during the free in-home visit. We set the itemized price beside the lender's options, so you can see what the job costs per month before you commit. The lender decides approval, rate and term, subject to credit.

  2. The whole job or a share

    Finance All of It, or Only Some

    Cover part from savings or an insurance check and finance what is left, or put the entire project on a plan. We show you how each split changes the monthly amount so you can pick what fits.

  3. Check or plan

    One Price, However You Pay

    Financing changes how you pay, not what the work costs. The written number on your estimate is the same whether you finance it or write us a check.

  4. No rush

    Sign at the Table, or Sleep On It

    If the payment works, sign during the visit and we start on permits. If you want time, keep the itemized estimate. Our price holds for 90 days.

What You Can Put on a Plan

Most of the work we do qualifies. Each lender sets its own minimum and maximum amounts.

  • Storm and water-damage rebuilds (including the gap insurance does not cover)

Progress payments

You Pay as the Work Gets Done

Cash or financed, payments follow progress you can see on site. A typical schedule looks like this; your contract lists the exact amounts.

    Contract signed

    Deposit to reserve your start date and order materials.

    Materials on site / work starts

    Progress payment when demo begins or major materials are delivered.

  3. 3

    Rough-in inspection passed

    Progress payment once the work behind the walls is inspected and approved.

    Substantial completion

    Progress payment when finishes are in and the punch list is written.

  5. 5

    Final inspection & walkthrough

    Final payment only after the permit is closed and you sign off.

Florida law (§ 489.126, F.S.) requires a contractor who takes more than 10% of the contract price as a deposit to apply for permits within 30 days and start work within 90 days after the permit is issued. We follow it on every job.
